As part of your consultation process, we will listen carefully to you giving you time to discuss the problems or concerns you may have with your existing dentures. We will carry out a clinical assessment which will involve an oral examination to determine your requirement and formulate a treatment plan for you. Relevant medical and dental history will be taken at this stage. Paperwork will be completed along with consent forms that we will need to be signed before we can continue treatment. The full cost of your treatment will also be discusses at this stage. Also explained the various stages of appointments required for your new denture.
All our patients are provided with information on how to care for their new denture and what to expect in those first few days after fitting i.e. the transition from your old dentures to your new dentures.
